Intelligent large capacity heat pump with integrated web server

Danfoss has launched the large capacity heat pump DHP-R. In terms of size it is quite small, but its functions are very strong – high annual efficiency, integrated web server and a surveillance system that can communicate with other superior systems on the market. With these functions Danfoss elevates heat pumps to the next level.

The Danfoss DHP-R large capacity heat pump is the result of Danfoss long experience of dimensioning and controlling heat pump systems.
The new large capacity heat pump is ideal for buildings with output requirements of up to 550 kW, for example, small shops, industries, schools and churches.
Danfoss DHP-R is equipped with an integrated web server with the option of controlling and monitoring the heat pump via the Internet. This benefits anyone who has multiple buildings and wants to achieve more efficient management. The customer has control over all the settings – alarm management, operating history, relevant temperatures and operating situation. They receive operating history in the form of graphs with second, minute and hour databases. In the unlikely event that something needs rectifying, the customer is alerted automatically via SMS text message or e-mail. The surveillance system is designed to communicate seamlessly with other types of systems, which further facilitates handling procedures for the customer.

The integrated web server makes the Danfoss DHP-R absolutely unique in the market. It quickly pays for itself as it provides substantial energy savings during heating and cooling operations. Moreover, it offers more options for adapting the system to specific conditions. For example, an old system can be retained alongside the new heat pump system.

Transforming solar energy into heating and hot water

The Danfoss DHP-R produces heating and hot water using stored solar energy from the bedrock, surface ground, groundwater or exhaust air from the building. It reduces heating costs, enabling initial investment to be paid for over a short space of time, whilst benefiting the environment and future generations.
