While launching a top-of-the-line range, Danfoss is taking the opportunity to include the most up-to-date and effective technology.
In addition to Opti technology, DHP-H Opti Pro, the premier product in the new range, offers improved hot water production. Thanks to new HGW technology* the heat pump can produce hot water in a highly cost-effective way while heating the home. This means extra amounts of hot water at low cost during the colder part of the year.

We also have a very positive view of opportunities presented by the new RES directive adopted by the European parliament. This directive means that heat pumps are classified as a renewable source of energy. The new products in the Opti range have been produced by the Danfoss research and development centre in Sweden, and cover four models; two that extract energy from groundrock, soil, lake or ground water (DHP-H Opti Pro and DHP-L Opti), and two that extract energy from outdoor air (DHP-A Opti and DHP-AL Opti). They are available in five power outputs (6, 8, 10, 12 and 16 kW) and are being launched all over Europe.
*HGW (Hot Gas Water heater) is a patented method for producing hot water. This provides higher annual efficiency combined with unbeatable hot water comfort.
